Dear Old Boy –

     Lovely to have your long letter, and even better to hear that you will both be in Nice when we hope to be at Antibes. So I won’t make this one very long as my eyes have started focussing again, and I can now use both together, but find it a bit tiring. Writing with one seemed almost better, but by using two will hopefully speed the pace of recovery.

Thank you for sending Sheila’s address, and we shall much hope to see her while we are in Spain. So then we should be able to give you her news as well as ours. We don’t yet know exactly when we will arrive in Antibes – last days in this month, or very early in October, I would think.
