BIBLIOGRAPHY OF THE WORLD WAR TWO CAREER OF DENNIS WHEATLEY
This is the first 50 + books which have been examined (of over 200, so far) which detail the remarkable service of Dennis Wheatley within the highly secret London Controlling Section of Winstons Churchill's War Cabinet. The existence of the LCS was only revealed in 1969 by Sir Ronald Wingate and it is believed that the full extent of the work of the Deception Planners and Dennis Wheatley's full part in it has still not been fully revealed. It is for that reason that, in order to assist future research, books that refer to deceptions (including code names such as Fortitude, Quicksilver, Torch, Mincemeat etc.) in which DW is known to have taken a full part, are included.
It should also be noted that information (also not fully researched but quoted extensively in all books) is held in :-

All these books are important, but those with a double asterisk are especially relevant. So far, we have only scratched the surface – it is a colossal subject. What is now certain is that the WW2 career of DW is adding to our historical knowledge, not only of the War but of the part played by Dennis in the conflict reaching its victorious conclusion.
